LOVE!!! Wow you need a high res scan of this. Oddly enough, I could totally see this as a t-shirt. Have you ever thought of submitting anything to www.threadless.com? (Or setting up a www.redbubble.com account?)
thank you!!! i feel happy right now i just checked both of those sites out and i think i'm gonna join the redbubble and threadless, it's like a creative bomb shelter that exploded with endless creativity, amazing. i can sell my stuff on threadless??
Threadless is an awesome place!! Actually how *that* one works, is you submit your designs, and people get to vote on them. Then the most voted ones go into production, and you get $$$ for your design! So it is kinda cool in that you get feedback, and there is the opportunity that yours will get picked! Totally worth it. They have some really cool and really random stuff on there.
RedBubble is fantastic. It is a really supportive community. Much smaller than DeviantArt, but it doesn't have the endless spam that dA has either. Plus the products are stellar. Nearly all the products I sell are created by RedBubble! So you have an instant gallery you can share with people and sell.
Awesome! i've been pondering in my couped up mind about my art career. and that's what i rather do is art than a respectiful window cleaner, which is good job no lie. i LOVE expressing what millions of people ARn'T able to see on a daily bases. thanks for the creative, supporting, advice. i just have to endure til the end of the YEAR, then no more window cleaning, yay. but i will still look for another job, respectfully. i had to tell someone AaaND i told you
Trust me, I totally know that feeling!! But I spent almost twelve years from the time I graduated highschool, to the time I picked my artwork back up, doing those kinds of jobs. In fact, you might find this interesting. I recently wrote a 'jobs I've had' thingy on my blog. Here is the link: [link]
In short, I should've been doing artwork all along. If you've got the talent, go for it! In some shape or fashion. Don't set it aside completely like I did. I was always 'the artist' growing up, but just kinda left it behind. I don't think it is even healthy for artistic people to give up their creative side like that, so make sure you always have something going on creatively! It'll keep you sane. lol
wow i just read it. *lightbulb* the struggle is the best. it's what inspires us to keep going, breaking the boundary of the ordinary. i will NEVER stop thinking creatively, that's impossible. What a gift we have from creation, to music, dance, singing, and building. i can't wait til paradise . CONLUSION: I'm going to pursue pioneering and ART. and im set. i feel serene.
Fantastical!!! I wrote something else that I can't find now, that kinda details the emotional struggle a little more. But it doesn't matter, cause it seems like you've already had that wonderful 'aha' moment!! And the earlier you can get that, the better!
And yes - just imagine being able to pursue all aspects of art, forever! Nothing can compare to that ultimate future!
